Pumpkin Decorating Contest Submissions Due

Date: Monday, October 26, 2026 Time: 10:00 AM - 6:45 PM Location: Library: Madison Public Library The library is hosting our annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest, so let’s get into the fall spirit by decorating pumpkins! Email photos to  hope@mjcpl.org  with the subject "Pumpkin Decorating Contest" by  midnight on October 26th . Tell us the name and age category  (Youth: 0-10, Teen: 11-17, or Adult: 18+)  of the decorator. Library staff will vote for 1 st  place in all categories. Winners in each category for the main contest receive a mystery prize. The People’s Choice winner in each category will receive a spooky good prize. Other prizes will be given for the following: Most Creative, Spookiest, and Silliest Pumpkins. Please click on the October 26th contest link on the Library’s online events calendar to register. Register each participant individually. Free. All ages are welcome to participate. Judging will take place from  October 27th to 30th . All winners will be announced on  Tuesday, November 3rd.  Contest Rules: Must be a real pumpkin. One entry per person. Pumpkins must be less than 40" in circumference.
