Marketplace Rules & Safety
AroundMadison is a platform for neighbor listings. We are not the buyer, seller, payment processor, delivery service, escrow, or guarantor of Marketplace transactions.
- Listings must be truthful. No illegal goods, stolen property, or prohibited items.
- No scams, fake deposits, phishing, or fraudulent payment requests.
- Meet in public places when possible. Never share payment codes or wire money to strangers.
- Sold / expired listings are hidden from browse per lifecycle rules; seller history may remain.
- Message Seller creates a Marketplace inquiry thread — it does not require friendship and does not create a payment relationship with AroundMadison.
- Report suspicious listings. Moderators may remove listings or restrict accounts.
