Messaging Rules

• Direct and group messages, Marketplace inquiries, and business-related threads (where offered) are for legitimate local communication between participants.
• Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Treat them as private between participants, but not as absolute confidentiality. AroundMadison may access reports and limited administrative tools for safety and abuse response.
• AroundMadison does not mine private message contents for advertising.
• Mute reduces notifications; Block is a stronger safety boundary.
• Harassment, spam, scams, and illegal content may be reported. Moderators protect reporter identity appropriately.
• Attachments use private storage — not the public profile media path. Do not upload illegal or abusive media.
• Admin/support contact channels are for help requests, not a guarantee of instant reply.
