Claim an Organization / Request access
Ask to help manage a civic Organization profile.
What it is
- If you work with an Organization, you can claim it or request access to help manage its public profile. Requests are reviewed before access is granted.
How to use it
- Open the Organization profile and use Claim this Organization or Request access.
- You must be signed in. Share your role, how you relate to the Organization, optional work contact details, a short explanation, and private evidence for staff (not shown publicly).
What happens next
- Your request stays pending until staff review it. You may be asked for more information.
- Approval grants representative management only — it does not verify the Organization or turn on Official publishing.
- Several people can manage the same Organization after separate approvals. Admins can revoke access if someone leaves.
Why isn’t access immediate?
- Civic Organizations need careful review so the wrong person cannot edit public community information.
